Devon Energy Corp. (NYSE: DVN) one of the largest independent U.S. shale producers, said it plans to cut greenhouses-gas emissions from its operations to net zero by 2050. The company is targeting reduction of the so-called Scope 1 and 2 emissions intensity 50% by 2030, according to a statement on Monday. It plans to trim methane-emissions intensity by 65% by 2030. Devon is 85% higher since the beginning of the year. DVN has tested its 50 days moving average.
